Mercedes Autoradio does not start

Only use this manual for an Avison brand car radio that is built into a Mercedes vehicle. This instruction is useful if the car radio does not power on, not automatically and go out, and if the Canbus does not work.

- Close plug number 1 on the photo to plug number 3. Please note, if this does not work properly, your plug number 2 connects number 3. It is intended that plug number 1 or number 2 is connected to 3. In the end there will remain A plug that is not connected.

- Close as on the photo plug number 5 to the supplied Canbus Module. Note that this module is only supplied with ready -made car radios, not with a universal 2 DIN car radio. If you have received this module, then you have a ready -made car radio.

- Connect number 4 on the back of the car radio, this plug only fits in 1 place, so you can't connect it wrong.

- Connect number 6 to the original car plug, if this plug does not fit because you have a larger plug, then use the other supplied plug, with a larger head.

- Connect number 7 on the back of the car radio.

Now test whether the car radio automatically switches on and out. That is how it should be, the car radio does not do that, then you try to change plug number 3 with number 1 or number 2.

If the car radio does not start at all, it is necessary with some vehicle models to install a connected 12V cable, this is not difficult if you are technical. You then connect this cable to the red acc wire of the car radio. The car radio only comes on when the Red ACC wire gets 12V, this should control the Canbus, but unfortunately some older vehicles do not fully support the Canbus.
